The Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam Constituency branch of the ruling New patriotic party (NPP) last Monday conducted free health screening at Ajumako, the Constituency centre, with about 3000 people beneficiaries.
Speaking after the exercise at Ajumako,a member of the party’s communication team,Mr.E.B Peterson hinted that some beneficiaries also benefited from free renewal of health insurance.
He said the party, under the sponsorship of its Parliamentory candidate,Dr.Rashid Kwesi Etuaful will extend the exercise to all communities in the Constituency.
According to him, the Parliamentory candidate has provided more than thirty vehicles to drivers in the area on ‘work and pay’ conditions.”Another batch of the vehicles will arrive very soon”,he said.Mr . Peterson continued that Dr . Rashid has given out soft loans to some women in some communities in the area, and intends to expand it before the end of the year.
He noted that, the Parliamentory candidate will push the Constituency to the Apex when giving the mandate come this year’s elections.
He said,as part of measures to alleviate unemployment, the Parliamentory candidate is sponsoring some youths in tertial institutions,and in apprenticeship.
He called on the constituents to vote for Dr.Rashid during the election to promote the development of the Constituency.
