JetMedians are curious, creative, and tenacious. We’re passionate about changing the world for the better and telling stories that matter. Sound like you? We want you to join our flock.

You’ll be in good company. We’ve got talented advertising creatives, driven journalists, gifted broadcasters, inquisitive media researchers, and passionate public relations strategists. And we’ve got brilliant grad students preparing to change the face of advertising and brand responsibility, media studies, multimedia journalism, and strategic communication.

Registration for Summer Academy 2021 is now Ongoing.

Application Process

The 2020 Academic Year is open to Senior High School Students (grades 10-22 and Graduating Seniors based on the grade the student is entering in the 2021 school year). Students must be 18 years old by the first day of the program. All students new to JetMedia Institute are required to complete an online application or Purchase the form at the front desk of the School. Our online application can be completed in a few basic steps. As students work through their application, they may save their progress and return to the application prior to final submission.
    1. Fill out basic information
    2. Select course preferences
    3. Submit the contact information for one reference
    4. Complete short answer questions
    5. Pay a GHC 50 application fee
    6. Submit supplementary materials
      • Required
        • Copy of School Certificate: Forms must include the most recent completed schools. Transcripts must be in English and do not need to be official.
      • Optional
        • Reference: must be a teacher, guidance counselor, coach or school official.
        • Work/Writing Sample: Students can submit any piece of work as an optional supplement to their application (e.g. research paper, poetry, course assignment, artwork, proposals, etc.)
 
*Failure to submit required supplementary materials by the application deadline may result in rejection or declined admission.

Returning Students

 

We are thrilled that you have decided to study with us again. Students who have previously attended JetMedia Institute program or course can submit a simplified application in a few basic steps. Application fees will be waived for returning students.

  4. Submit the most recent Transcript

 

Application Timeline

All applications are carefully reviewed by our admissions committee. The committee strives to select talented student leaders with diverse interests, ambitions and writing styles who will contribute to a well-rounded, and academically engaging community of students. Each application is reviewed holistically and qualified students who have demonstrated both a genuine interest in JetMedia Institute and a strong academic background will be considered for admission to the program. Our goal is to accept as many qualified students as possible and to place them in courses that are a fit for their academic, personal and professional aspirations (given space availability).

Please note that all supplemental documents must also be submitted in order for your application to be considered.
